SHOP MY COAT HERE// SHOP MY SWEATER HERE Growing up in Coeur D’ Alene, I’ve had my surprise Sweet 16 birthday party here, high school prom, fashion shows, special and unforgettable occasions, and actually worked at the bell desk down in the front entrance years ago haha! But my favorite nights are just driving downtown to grab a hot coffee & a mouth watering Dockside Gooey! Right on the Coeur D’ Alene Lake, the Resort hustles hard to keep up with the tourist scoping out this area and loyal guests in town. It’s been so awesome to watch the Resort transform and grow into what it is today! It’s a place that will always feel like home. No matter where you come from!

For as long as Nate and I can remember, we’ve been attending every North Pole Cruise and Holiday Light Show for all these years; so it makes it extra special for us to share the experience with our son! I seriously look forward to it all year. Just being down here feels like a movie with all the insane gorgeous lights! The Coeur d’Alene Resort is truly a real-life winter wonderland when it’s cold!

For 30 years, The Resort has put together The Holiday Light Show/ Journey to the North Pole Cruise across Lake Coeur D’ Alene! There are more than 250 displays featuring over 1.5 million lights next to Santa + Mrs. Clause! At the North Pole, Santa greets kids and calls them by name from the “good list.” Carter’s face was priceless when he heard his name! Santa’s elves also had a special surprise fireworks show waiting for after! As we cruised away, we saw one of the world’s largest floating Christmas trees animated to holiday music!

We retired back to our cozy room to change for a quick pool dip and than back up to our room to wait for Santa’s elves to deliver cookies and milk to make the experience so magical.

Holiday Light Cruises “Journey to the North Pole”

Take a festive holiday lake cruise across the sparkling waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene. View more than 1.5 million twinkling holiday lights and visit Santa Claus and his elves at his waterfront toy workshop, where he magically speaks to each child by name.
